Cosy Cottage, which is made of traditional brick and flint, is an excellent base for exploring one of the most beautiful towns in England, Henley-on-Thames. Surrounded by the hills and fields of the Chilterns, this terraced cottage is just a few minutes stroll from the 18th-century stone bridge that straddles the River Thames. Enjoying an international reputation for hosting the world\'s greatest rowing regatta, Henley is also home to other festivals including Rewind and the Henley Fringe Festival. Take a cruise on the river, pilot yourself in a small motor boat or rowing boat, visit the River and Rowing Museum, walk through the market square amongst the Georgian frontages and select an inviting pub or tea room, or browse the quirky shops. Take part in the Henley Ale Trail or follow in the footsteps of Inspector Barnaby and \'Midsomer Murders\' via the towns Midsomer Walking Trail, as the television series was regularly filmed in Henley!
